From the blog

I know I’m a little late to the punch on this but I wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe 2015! I know it’s a little cliche but I do mean it. However, if you are taking the time to read this, then just to inform you of a few things that will be happening with me this year. For starters, the website is going to start looking a bit different. It’s mostly going to be visual changes and a few functionality changes. The reason I’m doing this is that I really need to get on the ball with branding my whole entire look and feel as a DJ. You know, make things consistent. I want people to know as soon as they look me up what kind of DJ that I am and what kind of music I’ll be bringing to the party. I’m going to be marketing myself pretty heavily in my surrounding area of Charleston because it feels kind of odd that I have more fans and listeners outside my hometown area. (I guess it makes sense because the world is much bigger than Charleston and with this new high-fangled technology called the “Internet” I can connect with thousands of more people that actually dig what I do.)

I’m going to consistently post more reviews up on the site because it seems that the traffic is being pulled to them. I’m not 100% sure if people are reading the reviews because the only comments that seem to be left on the site are spam comments with the rare occasion of an actual comment. I’m not fishing for compliments but it would be nice to know that folks are reading.

I’m also going to make an effort to produce more edits and remixes. I have a goal in 2015 to be on a compilation with a few other re-editors. So check back with the site, stop by my SoundCloud page, subscribe to my RSS feed or sign up on my mailing list.

This now brings me to the next change you will see on my site. Folks will have the option for signing up on a mailing list for my site. I haven’t quite settled on how I’m going to integrate this into the website, but it will happen and I’ll send out email updates once a month. The emails will have some good information in them, links to top posts, music downloads, and other little tidbits of info.

I’ve also got more shows coming up in the near future. If you were able to attend any of my last few gigs at the Faculty Lounge, then you will be happy to know that I’ve been asked to come back as one of their resident DJs! I’m completely stoked about that and I can’t wait. Be on the look out for party info!
