From the blog

This obscure album from the Netherlands made it back into my rotation only a couple of weeks ago. The reason that it came back was because of a re-edit that Mr. Absolutt did of the groups monster jam, “Precious Little Diamond.” I truly believe this band was before their time, and it’s sad they’re not together any more. Every person that I play tracks for off this album are blown away by it! My radio station manager actually thought this was something that was just released and not something from 1984. Even the folks who don’t enjoy the falsetto voice of Bert Tamaela still love the music itself, with the hypnotic rhythms and heavy synthetic bass lines. The most notable tracks on this album are “Precious Little Diamond” (which actually peaked 5th on the charts in both the U.S. and Germany) with it’s driving synthetic bass and Tamaela’s catchy lyrics and what I consider a lowrider jam, “Stretching Out” with it’s walking bass line and steady drums. It’s totally worth your time checking out this hidden gem!
