I’m really excited about this! I haven’t been really pushing my mixes at all when I decided to get back into DJing. So for someone like me, essentially a new DJ moniker on the scene, this is a major accomplishment. I know this isn’t going to shoot me to gold or platinum status. You know what, I really don’t care. Fact is, I’ve touched close to 1000 lives with this mix and that to me is one of the coolest feelings life has to offer. (Some people have listened to this mix multiple times and if you’re one of those people, thank you!)

What’s really surprising to me is that the whole Bedroom Sessions series is just me throwing tracks on. The series is just essentially one big practice session that I happen to hit the record button on. These tracks I’m either pulling them fresh out the vinyl sleeves or listening to them for the first time right along with the listener. What just totally blows my mind, is that, (and I believe I’m being my own worst critic here) Bedroom Sessions volume 8 is my worst mix in the series! I’ve gone back through and listened to the others in the series and I just don’t know how this one is so much more popular than the others. Let me know what you all think.
